Marty has over 10 years experience in the promotional marketing industry working with Promotif, and then Corporate Express. Natalie has 10 years marketing experience working with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks, Vanguard Investments and Local Government.

 
3 Fish has been born out of a desire to create a commercially successful company, leveraging (but not replicating) previous experience in a manner that “does the right thing”, that is something to be proud of, feel good about and have a bit of fun with. When our kids ask us about global warming, environmental degradation, child labour and sweatshops we would like to say that we did something to make a difference. “We would like to create a company that other people want to work for and be proud to be associated with, and presume that we will attract people with a strong moral compass”, says Marty Dillon, Managing Director, 3Fish.

 

The idea of leading industry change appeals to the 3Fish team; doing things a bit differently in an industry (particularly from a supply perspective) that has been doing things in the same way for many years. 3Fish aims to be the industry benchmark for ethical sourcing. We want to create an easily recognisable brand in the market place that represents ethically sourced merchandise”, says Natalie Dillon, Marketing Director, 3Fish.

 

It is expected that other suppliers will, over time, attempt to say that “we can do that too”. However, as market leader, and sole specialist in this area 3Fish aims to offer an unmatchable “authenticity guarantee” supported by an independent audit trail. Philosophically, and hopefully, over the years ethical sourcing becomes commonplace in the mass market and so by having cool, funky design fundamental to the business, 3Fish will continue to provide innovative sourcing concepts to clients.

 

Marty and Nat have been married for 11 years and have 3 children; Zoe (5), Jasper (4) and Ethan (2).
